I’ve experienced really mentoring us to allow us to learn on the equipment ourselves with first-hand experience. As a teaching assistant and lab assistant for the woods lab, I’ve seen students come in [with] limited to no experience with a lot of this equipment...but our teachers just take us through and guide us on all the steps and procedures. By the end of the semester, they can’t get us out of the lab. We are so excited to get into here and work with all this equipment.
